Children’s Centre of Integral Education, established on the 21st day of February, 1975 is a unit of Sri Aurobindo Education & Welfare Society (SAEWS) and works in co-ordination with The New Life Education Trust, Bhubaneswar & Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry. The school follows the philosophy of The Mother & Sri Aurobindo. It has classes from play school, nursery to Class-X and is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.
The school functions from a three storeyed building, located at Plot No. A-10/1, Sri Aurobindo Vihar, Bhoinagar (Behind RTO-I and Saheed Nagar P.S). Teaching is imparted as per the curriculum prescribed by the Council. In addition to that, students are trained in vital, physical, spiritual & psychic education. The aim of this institution is integral growth for perfection in life.
The centre helps its children to develop their latent potentialities in such a manner that they may achieve integral growth, perfection & progress through spiritual awareness. Children get parental love & affection from teachers and experience a free & fearless life. They are taught to practice meditation, maintain personal hygiene & good physique. They are motivated to develop themselves not only in the academic field, but also in co-curricular activities like dance, music, Art & Craft, etc. The centre provides up-to-date knowledge of research & technological advancement in all academic disciplines.
The school is well equipped in all respects with independent laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Computer Science. It also has a library-cum-reading room having the facility to accommodate 50 students at a time, operated under the supervision of a qualified librarian.
Study circle class is held on every weekend with teachers & students. Annual Pathachakra is organized once in a year with an august gathering of parents & devotees. Students are taken for study tour to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Puducherry and other places outside of Odisha.
The centre is functioning at Plot No. A-10/1, Sri Aurobindo Vihar, Bhoinagar (behind Saheed Nagar Police Station and Regional Transport Office), Bhubaneswar 751022, in the Society's Campus, comprising of scientifically laid out three storeyed building, amidst beautiful gardens. All departments are well-equipped and adequately maintained.

In order to prepare the students for taking the ICSE Examination at the end of ten years of schooling (I to X), the Centre offers the courses of studies in LKG, UKG and Classes I to X, as prescribed by CISCE, New Delhi.
In order to achieve the the aims & objectives of the School, the Centre has well qualified, trained and devoted teachers in all disciplines.
The Centre works from Monday to Saturday and remains closed on Sundays and declared holidays as per the Holidays List provided in the yearly Personal Diary of Students or notified in the month of March for the next academic session.
There shall be a Parent-Teacher meeting on every 2nd Saturday to review the academic matters. All classes shall remain suspended.
Academic Session for the students, i.e. for classes from LKG to X, starts from the 1st April of the year and ends on the 31st March of the following year.
