Our Courses

There shall be no Admission Test for students, as per recent government directive. However, children are expected to be familiar with the following course content according to the class admitted to.

UKG (Preschool-II)

ENGLISH

    Writing alphabets, A to Z (capital and small letters).
    Identifying the alphabets.
    Nursery Rhymes (Oral).
    Conversation on parts of the body.
    Spelling: Three letter words, e.g. axe, boy, cat, dog, egg, etc.

MATHEMATICS

    Writing in words, 1 to 20
    Writing in figures, 1 to 100
    Counting figures and noting numbers

Class-I

ENGLISH

    Reading, Dictation (spelling), Conversation: days of the week, parts of the body, colours, arranging jumbled letters to make correct words
    Use of a, an, the, on, under, is, are
    Simple opposites, e.g. day, tall, good, etc.
    Correct the wrong word
    Rhymes (Oral)

MATHEMATICS

    Writing in words, 1 to 100
    Writing in figures, 1 to 500
    Addition and subtraction up to one digit, missing numbers, greater than (>), smaller than (<), Complete the series

Class-II

ENGLISH

    Use of is, am, are, etc. Opposites, e.g. boy-girl, father-mother, etc. Singular and plural and vice-versa Composition: Your school, Your family, etc. Sounds produced by animals like dog, goat, cat, elephant, sheep, etc. Babies of animals like tiger-cub, cow-calf, cat-kitten, dog-pup, etc. Conversation: days of the week, months of the year, body parts, different kinds of animals, vegetables, colours, fruits, flowers, etc.Reading

MATHEMATICS

    Writing in figures, 1 to 1000 Writing in words, 1 to 500 Addition and subtraction up to 2 digits Multiplication table, 1 to 10

Class-III

ENGLISH

    Use of is, are, has, have, had, etc. Use of preposition, i.e in, on, up, etc. Verb and tense Number and sentence Simple composition Dictation, conversation and reading.

MATHEMATICS

    Place value of numbers
    Addition & subtraction up to 3 digits
    Multiplication table, 1 to 20
    Simple multiplication 2 digits
    Division up to 2 digits
    Part of a whole, i.e. 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, etc.

Class-IV

ENGLISH

    Vowels and consonants. Noun - singular and plural. Verb, pronoun. Use of picture words. Formation of new words by changing the first letter of a given word, e.g. ball-call, tall-wall, boy-toy-joy, etc. Simple composition. Reading and conversation.

MATHEMATICS

    Fraction number - addition. Subtraction, multiplication and division. Metric measurement, units of measurements - centimetre, metre, kilogram, litre.

Class-V

ENGLISH

    Uses of parts of speech, noun, pronoun, verb, adjective, adverb, etc. Sentence and its kinds. Numbers, opposites and gender. Composition: your school, your father, your classroom. Leave application and letter writing, e.g. write a letter to your father asking him to send money to purchase books, etc.

MATHEMATICS

    Fractional number Addition and subtraction of fractional numbers Properties of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Concept of angles, triangles and quadrilaterals.

ACADEMIC SESSION AND FINANCIAL YEAR

Academic Session for the students, i.e. for classes from LKG to X, starts from the 1st April of the year and ends on the 31st March of the following year.
